HOGSBACK RIDE

for a perfectly organized day.

Thanks to all the KWT Ladies and guys who helped with the fuel stops and pulled trailers to collect us in Hogsback."Lekker people"

The well plotted route was awesome!

Impossible mountain , Crankcase alley , Handlebar hill and a few other very descriptive names "I forget"

The ride had something for everybody,Steep down/uphills, mud, rocks , water etc........

My favorite ! , a grass climb that resembled a perfect high speed ski slope in winter.

A couple of the 2 and 4 strokes blew off a bit of steam on this one!! shoo!

Permission had been granted to go through a lot of the forest areas including a trail through what must be the most beautiful indigenous forest ever , this route took us up to and almost under a waterfall of note."no words to describe"

We used this spot to cool off and all had a sample of what water should taste like."somebody should bottle that stuff"

At that point the water tasted better than Brandy&Coke!!!!

We left this spot with a 6km ride downhill into Hogsback and stopped at the first bar/restaurant to quickly compared the water taste to True Brandy/Coke

The Result......Still uncertain!

I will have to do this ride again to compare! " Can't wait "

Rumor has it ,this ride might be done twice a year and bike numbers will be limited!!!!!

Please guys ,don't try and find/ride this route as permission/permits must be granted to use certain areas within the forest.The possible outcome would be a total ban !!!!!! Not Good!
